The collaborative efforts of the Partnership have rebalanced Lynchburg’s economic base, tilting its investments and incentives toward innovative, high-growth, high-wage industries. An Excellence in Virginia Government Award recognized Region 2000 in 2011 as Virginians who lead by example and inspire others through their model of public service.
